Google will roll out three new types of searches: Q&A, FAQ & How To content. These will be pulled directly from the website content & will appear on the search engine result page for enquires that fall under the above mentioned three categories.

Some people might argue that whilst this is good for the users and Google it is bad for site owners. There is the risk that searchers will get the entire answer on Google itself and will not even bother to visit the source of the data ie the website.

This remains to be seen. From what we have seen most of the Q&A, FAQS & How To answers are short. They give you more exposure and encourage visitors to your site since. In a way it confirms to the person searching that your site is worth their time and actually offers genuine answers.

So as always the solution is always have quality content on your website. That has not changed – and is even more important now
